Every year, my neighborhood has a football game and brunch on Thanksgiving morning. The MVP “wins” the honor of hosting the whole neighborhood and any family they have in town to brunch. Last year we had the “honor” of having everyone over. It was a lot of work getting the house ready and food prepared for 90 people. It turned out to be a lot of fun having it at our house. I really got to know a lot of my neighbors better.
